Kill this site if all the inputs are two years old.
Give up but thanks for trying.

Wow, you come here a lot.. This is your 3rd time since 2003?
I'm impress on all the support you gave the site in the past 5 years.. That is 1 post for every 1.5 years..
Bet your parents missed you, when was the last time you visited them? 20 years ago..
Maybe your first name implies something?
I better stop it here..
BTW, Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
Probably will read this in 1.5 years from now..

Hey old--- Do you need to borrow my broom to chase people off your property? Sounds like you got up on the wrong side of the bed today
This website isn't as chattery because it was used by most people moving in asking questions. Not much of that happening now. Plus politics is limited and there are at least 2 other EM politic sites for that chatter. Also the city website actually has updated information on it. This emutah website also hasn't been advertised for at least 4 years that I know of. I'm surprised people still find it and join. If you had some advertisement going you'd get a new group of chatters since many of the old have moved on.
I use this website for social announcements like free stuff to give away, road discussion, emergency information like last Feb's big snow storm. You learn just to load the front page and it lists the current stories. If any apply to you you read them. If not, you go check other stuff. I enjoy this site still.
So if you don't like it, then either help contribute to make it better or don't read it. |

Tiffany..
Well, I guess chalk it up to a crabby old guy for a day.
He just hit the wrong chord I guess..
What are the other choices u mentioned..
BTW, I'm in snowy Chicago and heard EM got snow as well. Wife said that streets never got plowed. Don't know if done yet but will call her.
We live in Pioneer Addition, is this their responsibility or the City?

I thought the city did Pioneer Addition streets, but they only did single lane plowing. The main arteries were really clean in the city, but all the neighborhood streets didn't see the plows until the snow stopped since they were focusing on main traffic roads and schools since the storms kept hitting during commuter time and school time. They plowed many of the trails for kids to walk home on too.
The city doesn't do the alleys. Call your wife and see if it got plowed by now. If not then you will need to find out if it is a city vs HOA thing. I don't remember Pioneer having the issue of it being an HOA deal like part of Silverlake. The city was a little slower on doing my road too, I wonder if they are down a plow truck because they were constantly going and still had the roads cleaner than SR 73. |
